Hi all,
Thanks for the message Zoe. I hope the diablos arrive on time.
We are having lunch in a pub called The Packhorse. I am having a cheese sandwich.
It did rain a bit this morning but has stopped now. We have about six miles to go!

Lunchtime

Hi all,
The photo is the view from the B&B. As well as a horse that was in the stable.
We are having lunch in a pub called the Whitehouse. It hasn't rained yet and we. Have walked about 9 miles. Hope swimming was good.

Day one

Hi all,
We have all arrived at the B&B. Even Jonathan who had to take five. trains to get here!
We had dinner in a local hotel. Uncle Alan had sticky toffee. Pudding.

Pennine Way stages 3 and 4

I am off to walk legs 3 & 4 of the Pennine Way this weekend.  It should be good, as long as it stays (fairly) dry.

We pick up near Standedge where we finished last year.

Oscar is still popular at home.

Settling in

Well, Oscar seems to be part of the family now. He likes to explore around the house. We frequently lose him, only to find him lying in a little comfy spot.
We are trying to keep him out of the bedrooms. he must think that his name is "Oscar no"!

Working from home

Oscar seems to enjoy playing with my ethernet cable. I think that I had better go wireless!......
